2006 MSU Research Calendar
The calendar highlights the various research done by MSU professors and grad students throughout the year. I was responsible for contacting all selected researchers, setting up photography, and collecting research photos. I also edited the text on all pages.
MSU Summer Study Marketing Plan
Michigan State University has the largest summer study program in the nation and is always looking to increase enrollments. I was responsible for writing a strategic marketing plan and editing marketing materials such as flyer text. I also wrote and crafted messages for radio and newspaper advertisements.
MSU Living Learning Brochure
Living Learning programs are a major part of MSU. Examples are James Madison College and Lyman Briggs. A brochure to be sent to prospective students was created to highlight all of the available programs. I was involved in design brainstorming and also wrote and edited the text.
MSU Boldness by Design Distribution Plan
The office of Marketing and Creative Services was contacted by MSU President Simon to develop a distribution plan for Boldness by Design posters. The posters highlighted the President’s initiative for the university. I was in charge of getting permissions to hang posters in all residence halls and academic buildings on the MSU campus and other business locales in the area. Another employee and I were later responsible for delivering all posters as well.
The Residential College for the Arts and Humanities, MSU www.rcah.msu.edu
MSU will welcome this new residential college in the fall 2007. I conducted focus groups to test message and programming with high school students across the country and prepared a report for the development committee that suggests the best strategic approach to market this program to its audience. In addition, I helped write all of the preliminary marketing material, which included a flyer, brochure, and copy for the web site.
